Strawberry Smoothie as Light as a Cloud

The smoothie category shows no signs of slowing down, with increasingly adventurous ingredient combinations attracting customers through multisensory appeal and the added promise of functional benefits. Take, for example, the Strawberry Cloud Smoothie, a fixture on the “Power Smoothies” menu at South Block, a juice and smoothie chain. The Strawberry Cloud is a pink vision that blends unsweetened almond milk, bananas, strawberries, sea moss, maple syrup and collagen protein, along with a dairy-free, coconut-based whipped topping and a strawberry glaze made with strawberries and agave.

Founder Amir Mostafavi declares the Strawberry Cloud “just as delicious as it is aesthetic. The TikTok girlies love to try it, documenting it across their socials because it is so craveable and gorgeous.” The drink has proven highly successful in introducing new guests to the brand. Two ingredients earn top credit, he notes: “The strawberry glaze takes the flavors up a notch. It’s a fabulous combo with the creamy coconut topping.”

The full menu represents Mostafavi’s vision to share positive energy and fresh, handcrafted offerings—one block at a time. A portion of all South Block sales gets donated to a fund he established to provide fruits and vegetables to people in food-insecure communities.
