Julie Tobias, National Accounts Manager at Flavor & The Menu, began her career in ad sales career in 1995 at Diversified Communications in Portland, Maine, where she worked as an Account Manager for Seafood Business Magazine. After a long hiatus in the world of publishing, she joined Flavor & The Menu in 2013, and has enjoyed the immersion into the dynamic foodservice world.
Julie was raised in Michigan, lived for 20 years in coastal Maine and recently relocated to Bend, Ore., where she enjoys biking and skiing the beautiful Oregon Cascades with her husband and three teenage boys. While she appreciates a good craft cocktail, the Bend food-scene, rich in micro-brews and food trucks, is right up her alley. She graduated from Michigan State University with a major in Advertising.
